Woke up a little earlier than normal to do some last minute revision for the quiz later in the day.. Although I find TCM interesting, but still studying for a quiz is a chore. Headed out for our final TCM lecture, which revolves around the thesis done by Mr Ryan's brother, and it was interesting as it talked about the future of TCM in a modernized world. The quiz, consisting of 18 questions followed soon after, and I found the quiz pretty managable. Hope I did well.
Lunch was again at the business district, and this time I ordered the claypot soup. It was seriously very very good, as the soup is super flavorful. After we finished lunch, we headed back to the dorm for some rest before another cultural exchange with the local students. This means.... DOTA TIME!!! Hahahaha...
Headed out for the cultural exchange at the teaching block, and it started with the local students giving us a talk on their experiences while staying in Singapore for 2 weeks. They seemed to enjoy our country as much as we enjoy their homeland. After that the LDH students gave presentations about their stay in Chengdu thus far, as well as comparing between the similarities and differences in Singapore and Chengdu, such as food, education and transportation. It was a really insightful exchange.
Dinner was after that, before we headed over to the arts theater for a French rock concert. Here we experienced China Kiasuness round 2. They literally pushed and pushed their way into the theater, without queuing properly, which resulted in a few of my friends getting hurt. I was really frustrated with the behavior of those students, being inconsiderate to the safety of others. After much pushing and shoving, all of us finally managed to get into the hall. The concert was pretty good, and one of my classmate was very interested in one of the singer. So after the concert we all helped her to get a photo with that particular singer. It was a really interesting experience. :D
